Senior Year, Senior Thesis, Senior Portrait!

Most of you whom follow my blog know that I am now in my Senior year at Ringling College of Art and Design.  In the Past I've done many self-portraits to familiarize myself with my "look." Now I have come up with my Final Semester look. My Senior Year Self-Portrait.

Zombie update!

Yup I am gearing up for Halloween this month! Enjoy!

The Tortoise and the Hare.. and Zbrush!

Alright. I had just received my critiques this week and they were all fair. For my advanced illustration class I had to do a fairytale. So I chose The Tortoise and the Hare.

As for my Zbrush class I learned a lot. understanding the tools. and dealing with certain issues that came with the program. I had fun doing this. I plan on making more during my off times. Despite the fact that my character's eyes were a bit bulging out of his head, I want to refine this craft a bit more. Enjoy!

New(and last) School year!

So my Senior Year at Ringling College of Art & Design is about to begin in about a week. So I wanted to Show an all new Me! Fantasy Style. Hope you enjoy the new pic. And new Posts from school will start as well. So stay tuned!

Traditional Time!

These are but a few things I've done. One being My version of Nintendo's Mario®

I've also done a scene of a forest.

And sketches of Multiple versions of Me in different styles.
Both Mario and The Forest scene done in Prismacolor Colored Pencils and My self designs done in HB Graphite. (Forgive the picture quality. My sketchbook was too big for my scanner so I had to take snapshots of them)

Another Self-Portrait

I know, another self-portrait.. I am not vain lol. I just wanted to add something personal on my brand new 11x14 sketchbook! Done in Acrylic and Plastic on the glasses lenses.

Reworked!

This was one of my ID's for my dA account. I was rummaging through my old art pieces I post up, then I saw my old piece was like a muddy... scratchboard piece... so I decided to revamp it with my newly acquired skills!
Hmm... should I just add my name and it be a new Title Illustration for the blog? As I ponder this development I must come up with more work!!

My teacher showed me how to finish off my self-portrait with some pizazz. thanks Perez this is a lifesaver! Onward to Better finished work!

Myself...

I have created myself in the style of PIXAR-ish characterization.
I love how this came out. Even though my teacher says it's almost there.
I also have to show that I can do other things even though my "cartoon" style is dominant. I can do other styles.
