Comic Series Begins!

Here is what I'm currently working on.
As I said previously. I will be busy but still want to work on my favorite subject other than cartoons. Comics was my other enjoyable thing to draw. So here is a WIP of Ultra the Multi-Alien! It will be posted when finished.

Still Alive...

Currently I am still preparing for the take off to school.
Not only am I placing a few things on hold, I am also trying to finish up the children's book project as fast as possible. The comic series may be a  while. But I am still making an effort to complete them.

Since I will be busy for the rest of this month of October, I have created this little piece for Halloween to show you 1. I am still alive, and 2.  The final cartoon painting is still coming.

School and Book Project!

So I've decided to go for my BFA in Animation at SCAD. I plan on setting up some things to solidify my position there. Also I now have the green light to begin work on a Children's Book Project which I will unveil as soon as it's published.
Voltron will not be recorded unfortunately, with all that's going on I'm going to have to finish it as is. But I will be posting the finished product as soon as it's finished.

More artwork is coming too. Currently updating my website for better flow, look forward to it!

Voltron and Animation.

For a while now I've been trying to sketch out a decent image of Voltron. Still working on him. I had to take a break from it. So I decided to brush up on my animation using toonboom.
Here is the preview of it.

I got to find a way to skin this cat (not literally) with voltron.

This is General Galapagos discovering Bill and Scooter, the two cavemen. I'm preparing to start my final 80's-90's cartoon. Voltron. I will be doing the sketches live then I'll switch to my desktop to continue painting it to finish. Stay tuned. For now Enjoy!

Another Series- 80's-90's cartoons!

I've decided as a project to make cartoons of the 80's and 90's!

New Character Design.

After graduation I decided to start working on some character designs based on my wife's children's book story. Here is a preview of the main character so far.

Painter 12 trial...

So after seeing a demo of the new flow system and new set up of the interface I decided to take it for a test drive. I find this one particularly easier to handle than Painter 10 I have. So I made a test piece of a bear! It worked very well. Come check it out!

A Japanese Tribute.

I felt I had to draw a piece for respecting both the spirits the japanese ancestors as well as the recently departed from the tsunami/earthquake. So here is a boy releasing his lantern at midnight to the sea of japan.
I plan on making this a painting when I get the time.

Most of you whom follow my blog know that I am now in my Senior year at Ringling College of Art and Design.  In the Past I've done many self-portraits to familiarize myself with my "look." Now I have come up with my Final Semester look. My Senior Year Self-Portrait.
